              Pancheons

Pancheons are a very old form of pottery with many uses. Today they are usually used for bread making and cooking, but originally they were used for all sorts of thing apart from cooking - soaking and washing. Traditionally they are made of terracotta clay with a cream slip under a clear glaze as you see here. We make them in all sizes from around 10 inches across up to around 15 inches diameter.
